European Game species:

Red deer ( Cervus elaphus L.)

Our clients have taken a great number of gold and silver medal heads in both Hungary and Romania. The late Harry Hersey took a fabulous deer in the Somogy area of Hungary that scored 248.38 CIC points. Our own Mr. Horn managed the monster of Banloc ,Romania which scored over 250 CIC points.
The quality of the stags during the September rut continues to be something to behold. We organize hunts according to the preferences and physical condition of each hunter. The Carpathian red deer of Romania has no comparison . The beauty of the scenery, coupled with the richness of the flora and fauna of the Carpathian Mountains calls sportsmen back year after . Hungary has the best concentration of stag in several different locations. The best time to hunt this creatures of the morning mist is from early September to mid October .
We are also happy to organize stag hunting in Croatia, Bulgaria, and Austria as well.

Roe deer ( Capreolus capreolus L.)

The roe deer is the smallest of the deer family that we hunt. it is extremely popular with European hunters. S talking and high seats have produced almost perfect results for our sportsmen over the last 30 years ( including many over 600 grams and a number over 750 grams). During the rut ( mid July to mid August) we entice the amorous boys in with a mating call,or one the imitates a fawn looking for it’s mother. The season starts April 15 in Hungary and runs till the end of September in most countries we hunt. The best Roe deer are found in the eastern part of Hungary, but good heads can be found anywhere with a bit of luck from Diana the huntress . Romania holds strong populations in her fields and hills . The mountains have a smaller density due to wolf, brown bear, and lynx. We also have excellent ares in Serbia as well.

The top areas for driven are found in Hungary, but the Carpathian Mountains of Romania hold some story book class tuskers. Driven wild boar should be on every sportsmen’s bucket list (if not get a bigger list) there is nothing to equal a hugh streak of black flying through a sea of green and brown ( or snow white) bearing down on your position.
